walked to work — guy on Stoneman stopped me and asked if I lived in the neighborhood and when I told him this is the way I come when I walk to work he handed me a neighborhood visa application, said I’d need it by February 1 — after work he was on his porch, he smiled and gave me a thumbs up, wearing a pistol now — when I got home M was in an agitated state, said she’d gotten into it with a “bitch” from what she called 2 Club Clergy at the grocery store — she didn’t want to talk about it — fixed her a Gimlet, I had a Boulevardier — we talked about work

I made fried rice for dinner and watched the news until M couldn’t take it anymore — she trimmed the cats’ nails and watched DIY TV — I read the Eichmann book — showered — M should never read that book
